Christopher Harris

Christopher Harris is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Re/Insurance Strategy at Hudson Structured Capital Management Ltd.
Prior to joining Hudson Structured, Mr. Harris served as CEO, President and was a Board Member of Montpelier Re Holdings Ltd. from July 2008 to July 2015. Prior to his role as CEO, Mr. Harris served as President, Chief Underwriting Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Chief Actuary. Earlier in his career, Mr. Harris managed a risk consulting practice, served as Chief Actuary for a reinsurer, and served in a management role for a U.S. commercial insurer.
Mr. Harris serves on the Board of Directors for James River Group and BF&M Group and is a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Board Leadership Fellow and an AIDA Reinsurance and Insurance Arbitration Society (ARIAS) U.S. Certified Arbitrator. Mr. Harris is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, Chartered Financial Analyst, and Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter.
Mr. Harris graduated from the U.S. Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and holds a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Financial Management from the University of North Texas, G. Brint Ryan School of Business.
