Jan-Erik Wahl

Jan Erik Wahl is a Consultant for Hudson Structured Capital Management Ltd. with primary responsibilities in the Hudson Northern and Northern Shipping funds.
Prior to his role as a consultant for Hudson Structured, he served in a similar capacity for Northern Shipping Fund Management LLC until the firm was acquired by Hudson Structured Capital Management Ltd. in 2022.
From 1996 to 2013, he was employed by Northern Navigation, where he served as Technical Director. Concurrently, between 1999 and 2008, he served as Technical Director for the NFC Investment Manager.
From 1984 to 1996, Mr. Wahl was a founding partner of Wahl Heirung & Partners, a global consultancy operation specializing in naval architecture and marine engineering. From 1962 to 1984 he was employed by the Oivind Lorentzen Group as a naval architect and later as Technical and Operations Director for the company’s fleet of passenger ships, multi-purpose vessels, car carriers and gas carriers.
Mr. Wahl graduated from the University of Sunderland in 1960 as a naval architect and marine engineer.
