Rachel Bardon is a Partner and Deputy CIO – Re/Insurance and CIO of HSCM Insurance Credit with primary responsibilities in the Re/Insurance Strategy.
Most recently, Ms. Bardon led Montpelier Re’s Bermuda actuarial team with responsibilities in capital modeling, reserving, pricing, and risk management, and a key focus on non-cat reinsurance sectors. Prior to joining Montpelier Re in 2006, Ms. Bardon worked for Liberty Mutual for 5 years in their regional agency markets for Colorado Casualty and Golden Eagle, where her primary responsibilities included rate-making, reserving, planning, and reporting for commercial and personal lines insurance.
Ms. Bardon graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Ms. Bardon is a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst.
