David Somers Cash is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Re/Insurance Strategy at HSCM Bermuda Management Company.
Most recently, Mr. Cash served as the Chief Executive Officer at Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. from 2010 to 2013 and its President from 2012 to 2013. He joined Endurance Specialty in 1996 and has served in a number of positions including Chief Risk Officer, Chief Actuary Officer, and Chief Underwriting Officer. Mr. Cash has been a Director of Bermuda Commercial Bank Limited since 2015. He served as a Consulting Actuary at Tillinghast-Towers Perrin in New York. Mr. Cash serves as a current and founding Board Member of the Bermuda Business Development Agency.
Mr. Cash serves as a Board Member of Endurance Reinsurance Corporation of America and as a Member of the Board of Directors of Centre Life Finance – Centre Solutions’ senior settlement financing company. He also served as a Director of Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. from May 2010 to May 28, 2013. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Mr. Cash holds a Master of Science in Mathematics from Oxford University, which he attended as a Rhodes Scholar.
