Richard Carbone is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Re/Insurance Strategy at HSCM Bermuda Management Company.

Most recently, Mr. Carbone served as Chief Financial Officer of Prudential Financial from 1997 to 2014. Prior to joining Prudential, Mr. Carbone held senior finance officer positions in both the banking and securities industries, including Managing Director and Controller of Salomon Brothers and Senior Vice President and Controller of Bankers Trust Company.

Mr. Carbone was the Chairman of Talcott Resolution (acquisition vehicle for Hartford Life and Annuity) and was a Director of E*TRADE Financial Corporation where he served as the Chairman of the Audit and Compensation Committee. He also served as a Director, Chairman of the Risk and Investment Committee, and a member of the Audit Committee at Resolution Life. He began his career at Price Waterhouse & Co. in 1976. Mr. Carbone was an officer in the United States Marine Corps from 1969 to 1972 and served as a Platoon Commander in Vietnam. He is a trustee of Catholic Charities of Staten Island.

Mr. Carbone holds a Master of Business Administration, with Honors, from St. John’s University, Tobin College of Business. Mr. Carbone is a Certified Public Accountant.
