Rich du Moulin is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Transportation Strategy at Hudson Structured Capital Management Ltd.
Most recently, Mr. du Moulin was the President and Partner of Intrepid Shipping LLC, a role he served since 2002. Prior to Intrepid, he served as the Chairman and CEO of Marine Transport Corporation, which he sold to Crowley Maritime in 2000. Before leading MTC, he led a $144 million LBO of Martine Transport Lines, a public US shipping company in 1989, and served as the Chairman and CEO until 1998. Mr. du Moulin began his career at OMI Corp, where he held senior positions including Executive VP, COO, and Director from 1974-1989.
He has served as the Chairman of the International Association of Independent Tank Owners and currently is the Chairman of Seamens Church Institute. He is a recipient of the US Coast Guard Distinguished Service Medal, the Admiral of the Ocean Seas Award, has served as Commodore of Connecticut Maritime Association Lifetime of Yacht Racing – Americas Cup, and serves on the Board of the US Sailing Offshore Committee.
Mr. du Moulin graduated from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts and holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University, Harvard Business School.
Mr. du Moulin served in the US Navy from 1969-1972.
